Ending a year and starting a new one!

The school year ended without a big bang.  Didn't see much point in a bang since the planned Spring break ended up being an end of the year break.  Not sure whether we'll go for a Summer break or not.  So far, we've started our new school year (FIRST GRADE!  YEAH!) with some pretty groovy stuff!

Of course, then there are things that we didn't get photos of.  Time is suddenly a subject of interest.  We discussed using tricks like counting with words to get as close as possible to counting time ("One Mississippi.  Two Mississippi.").  We went over the amount of seconds per minute and minutes per hour.  There has been marked improvement in memorizing of the days of the week, and months of the year.  WOOOO!
